March 29, 2016; Olson Engineering was one of the sponsors for the 2nd Annual Free Easter Egg Hunt, held at Water Works Park last Saturday.  The team at Olson Engineering was pleased to help make this fun event happen for kids 8 and under.  

March 7, 2016; Olson Engineering is seeking a design engineer with 3-10 years experience in land development, municipal and/or transportation projects. Knowledge of Microstation and Inroads is a plus, but not mandatory.

March 4, 2016:  Over 150 people attended the Olson Engineering Open House on February 25, 2016.  The Olson team was delighted that so many clients, consultants and friends took time out of their busy schedules to reconnect and enjoy our new office space.  Thank you for making our party a success!

December 10, 2015; Jerry Olson recently received an award for 40 years of dedicated service to the Building Industry Association of Clark County (formerly known as Clark County Homebuilders).  During that time, Jerry served on the Board of Directors for 30 years, as well as serving as Land Development Council Chair for 30 years, leading the association through several Comprehensive Plan processes.  Congratulations, Jerry!

December 7, 2015; Jerry Olson, along with other Riverview Bank executives, recently visited all the regional bank branches to spread some Christmas Cheer.  Happy Holidays!

November 12, 2015;  Olson Engineering was pleased to celebrate a number of milestone anniversaries at a recent dinner.  The recent recession made it necessary to delay the recognition of these milestones, but Olson is proud to now honor our team's hard work in the past years.  

Counting just the years of people with anniversaries, the total was 387 years of survey, civil engineering, planning and administrative experience.  That number represents an impressive knowledge of the area's history and the projects therein.  Congratulations, all!

September 25, 2015;  Jerry Olson has written a history of Cherry Grove, Oregon. Cherry Grove, located just west of Gaston, began as a logging town that was mostly comprised of Swedish immigrants. Jerry Olson recalls early life in the town. Find out more at the following link:  Cherry Grove

Rebecca Wahlstrom, who is part of the Olson landscape architecture/land use planning department, was quoted in a recent Oregon DJC article.  Rebecca serves as the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Oregon Chapter PR person, working to promote the great things that landscape architects do around the region.
