July 26, 2016; Olson Engineering was proud to once again sponsor one of the holes and enter a team at the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) 2016 Golf Tournament.  The event was held Friday, July 22 at the Camas Meadows Golf Club and proceeds benefit the upcoming work of the CREDC.  Team, pictured left to right, shot 21 under par; Kurt Stonex, Gordy Jolma, John O'Neil, and Randy Printz.  Great game!

July 26, 2016; Heritage Farm, who educates groups on the joys and benefits of growing food, needed a new parking lot for their busy farm.  In keeping with the educational message of the school, it was decided that the new parking lot would become a demonstration area.  Find more details about the Heritage Farm project in The Columbian's article link, found below.

June 27, 2016; Last Friday, many of the Olson crew headed out to The Cedars Golf Course for the annual company golf tournament.  Participants had a fun afternoon on a beautiful course and enjoyed a delicious meal afterwards at the clubhouse.  Glad the rain stayed away for most of the afternoon!

June 27, 2016; On June 23, we gathered at Bethany Vineyard to celebrate Bruce's many contributions and steadfast dedication to Olson Engineering over the past 40 years.  Although a rainy evening, the group gave Bruce a warm sendoff into the next adventure called retirement.  Thank you, Bruce!

June 15, 2016; Bruce Towle is retiring after 40 years as a surveyor for Olson Engineering.  Bruce started working at Olson in 1976, surveying floodplain cross sections, and by 1983 he was head of surveying, and became part owner and a principal.  Bruce remained in those roles until retirement and finished his career having been involved in over 8,000 projects.  Thank you for all the years of hard work and dedication, Bruce!  Please come to Bethany Vineyard & Winery (4115 NE 259th St, Ridgefield, WA 98642) on June 23, 4:30-6:30pm to help us send Bruce off to a happy retirement.

April 27, 2016; Carla, who was a surveyor and project manager at Olson Engineering from 1995-2011 before moving on to other opportunities, was awarded the "State Surveyor of the Year" Award at the recent Land Surveyors' Association of Washington Annual Meeting.  Congratulations, Carla!

April 22, 2016; Jerry Olson was nominated in March to be considered for the 2016 David Duniway Lifetime Historian Award by the Willamette Heritage Center. 
Although not ultimately chosen, his historical contributions to mid-Willamette Valley history were enumerated at the event.

March 29, 2016; Olson Engineering was one of the sponsors for the 2nd Annual Free Easter Egg Hunt, held at Water Works Park last Saturday.  The team at Olson Engineering was pleased to help make this fun event happen for kids 8 and under.
